Ellwood Daycare and Out of School Care is a fully accredited daycare in Edmonton, Alberta. Our school is a family-owned business dedicated to keeping children safe, clean, nurtured, and happy.

About the Owners
Aurelio and Virginia Sumalinog are immigrant professionals in Edmonton, Alberta. Aurelio worked as a Second-Class Power Engineer in Fort McMurray, while Virginia was a classroom teacher with the Catholic School Board. They are blessed with 4 grown-up children, namely, Miguel, an Aeronautical Engineering Technologist; Maria, a Canadian International School Teacher in China; Elvira, a Petroleum Engineer and Data Analyst with OECD in Paris; and Rafael, a medical doctor in Vancouver.
In 2014, the couple decided to put up a relatively big center after selling their 2 smaller ones, pouring their resources as their retirement investment. In 2015, both quit their job to concentrate on their daycare. Aurelio also went back to school to earn his Early Childhood Education Diploma.
